Website Partnership Scheme

Mission Objective

This is a Short Circuit Mag.info lead initiative (known as SC from now on) and our aim is to bring UK oval racing web sites together (but only in a small way) to make the Internet a slightly more interesting place for surfers, and an easier place to find information – and the forming of a Website Partnership scheme where partners will proudly display the membership logo.

So far we have one new member who has been a big help in setting this scheme up so a big thanks to the Webmaster at www.superstox.co.uk

To become a FULL member

  1. If you are able to display an RSS feed of other member’s latest posts is a good start. We have found a Plug in called Simple RSS Feeds Widget and gives the headline plus the source website address. This means all members share the latest post links. Look at www.shortcircuitmag.info at the bottom right corner – it features an RSS feeds from SC as well as one from the Superstox site – yours could be added and shared on other members sites. We can give you the RSS feeds of other members as they join. Easy to set up for Word-press – Think it can be done for other platforms.
  2. Display the Short Circuitmag.info Website Partner logo in a corner of the site, preferably bottom left. Would also be nice to show other members Logos which should be a minimum of 60×60 pixels, but if we get more members can be reduced. For Word-press we used a Plug-in called Social Media Widget, using the Custom Services options on the right. It is also a great widget for all the other social media fading the icons in and out on mouse-over – worth a look.

That is it for now and if you join SC will put your webmasters email into our own exclusive newsletter group to discuss things, and to possibly set up a news distribution service where if anyone in the sport wants to get a press release or statement out to the best web sites, forums, etc – we can spread the word to Member sites, which can use their own discretion as to their use – on either their Website or other social media connected with their sites.

SC do run an affiliate seller programme that pays 4% on anything sold though a 468×60 advert banner on your site, this is separate to our membership scheme proposals.
