Girls Dominate at Lynn
The girls had a very successful evening between them in the National Ministox at Kings Lynn on 31st March, taking three wins out of the four races run, as well as a brace of seconds and thirds. Heat 1 saw 491 Holly Gould take victory after passing 60 Matthew Venables in the closing laps, while it was a Ladies 1-2-3 in heat 2, with Camey Dorrell fending off Gould for the win, while Courtney Finnikin rode out a last bender from Sam Roper for third. Amy Webster nearly took the third heat, but Frankie Wainman Jnr overhauled her on the last lap for victory. Webster and Dorrell had a close battle for the lead throughout much of the Final, with Webster eventually getting ahead to take the flag, while Dorrell crossed the line second only to be docked two places for jumping the start, giving Wainman and Finnikin the other podium places.
